Description

Program aims

  • Insure health care and making this service available to the needy and the injured, whether inside Syria or for Syrian refugees in countries of asylum.
  • Support medical staff through the creation of appropriate employment opportunities.
  • Strengthen local communities and civil authorities through common action and coordination.
  • Contribute to the development of strategic plans for health in Syria and work to maintain it.
  • Private health sector capacity building through training of health staff and contribute to increased performance.

Project types

  • Medical hospitals in various disciplines.
  • Operation and support of primary fixed and moving health care centers.
  • Formatting community health teams to contribute to bridging the health gap resulting from the migration of doctors.
  • Special medical teams to evacuate and rescue work in bombing and disaster conditions.

Program outputs for 2015

  • Primary health care insurance for 20,000 families in the city of Idlib (Althwra polyclinic in Idlib).
  • Primary health care insurance for 8,000 displaced people in the camps of Salqin (polyclinics of Samedoon, Qademoon, and Aedoon)
  • Primary medical care insurance for 110 000 refugees in Turkey (Violet’s clinic in Reyhanli, Turkey).

  • Primary medical care insurance for 110 000 refugees in Turkey (Violet’s clinic in Reyhanli, Turkey).
  • The overall family medical care in Areeha city and the surrounding countryside (Violet’s Hospital for Maternity).
  • Secure the evacuation and rescue of the people of the city of Idlib in times of heavy shelling (volunteer team in Violet).
