Official Notice – Amendment to Tender (ITB 2025 09 016)

Violet Organization announces an update to the Invitation to Bid for the Rehabilitation of 3 Schools in Damascus Countryside (Douma – Harasta), due to corrections made in the Bill of Quantities (BoQ) in the previously published version.

The updated file has been uploaded to the same link below, and all interested bidders are kindly requested to use only the updated version when preparing their offers.

Additionally, the submission deadline has been extended by two (2) additional days, and the new deadline for submission is 23 October 2025 at 15:00 (Syria Time).
All other conditions of the original announcement remain unchanged.

Rehabilitation and restoration of 3 schools in the Damascus Countryside Governorate (Douma-Harasta)

Announcement start date: 06 October 2025
Announcement deadline: 21 October 2025

The offers submission will be as the following:

• Offers must be valid for at least 60 calendar days. Submission of offers will be as follows,

• Interested bidders must submit clear copies of the requested files in a sealed envelope to Violet Organization office in Damascus (Damascus –Mezzeh – Eastern Villas – Al-Farabi Street – Al-Hamami Building No. 36)) and put it into the tender box in hand
• The bidder has to make sure that he includes the tender number, ITB 037 08 2025, and the name of his company on the sealed envelope.

Submission of offers will be in two files

• The first file contains
  • • Technical Offer which is this ITB document, provided by Violet Organization after filling the info mentioned related to the capacity of the bidder and Examples of bidder previous works with I/NGOs. The bidders are also requested to provide the evidence for the previous experience in supplying the required items or services in this ITB/NGOs such as countersigned contracts if any.
    • The bidder quotation includes: Confirmation from the bidder that he viewed this ITB 202509016 Including the  booklet of technical conditions and he accepts it (This ITB  must be signed and stamped form the bidder).
    • Company’s PTT account information
• The second fıle contains the financial offer in the USD Currency with the whole information about items pricing based on the template provided by Violet, please fill the attached table in Annex C – the Financial offer, the supplier’s should commitment about his bid in terms of items’ quality, the period of bid validation, and items pricing.

1. Important Note (Mandatory):

Each supplier must conduct a site visit to the schools during the announcement period accompanied by Violet’s supervising engineer, in order to review the required works before submitting the offer.
The supplier must obtain a signed attendance certificate from the supervising engineer and attach it to the offer.
Any bid that does not include this document will be automatically rejected and not evaluated.

2025. The site visits will take place on 15 -14-13–   October 2025.
2026. Departure will be daily at 10:00 AM from Violet’s office in Damascus, accompanied by engineer Mohammad Idan (WhatsApp: +963949145315).
2027. The Site inspection document form is attached.

• Violet Organization will not be responsible for any costs or expenses incurred by the Bidders in connection with the preparation and submission of their bids to Violet Organization.
• The last date to submit offers is 21 October 2025 at 15:00 (Syria Time), offers received after this time will not be considered.
